Jonathan’s passion for helping those in need is in his blood. His father was a pastor, and his mother was a social worker at Children’s Mercy for over 40 years. He grew up in Platte City, Missouri, and attended the University of Missouri – Columbia, receiving his law degree there before moving to Kansas City and starting North KC Law in 2005.

Jonathan has helped clients with their personal injury lawsuits, providing the full spectrum of legal assistance, from initial consultation to settlement or trial, including conducting depositions to negotiating with opposing counsel and insurance companies. Besides his experience in Personal Injury law, Jonathan has practiced in other areas of law, including criminal, civil litigation, probate, and business organizations.

After graduating from the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Law, Erik worked for several major law firms in Missouri until 2011, when he decided to start his own law firm. Erik found that a small practice allowed him to work with clients on a more personal, one-on-one level and enabled him to provide those needing legal services with the most assistance. Growing up, Erik’s parents demonstrated the importance of helping others, his father as a pastor and his mother as a nurse and therapist.
